Fleur Huijsdens
Fleur Huijsdens (1989, Amsterdam) is a photographer based in The Hague whose work revolves capturing dark and true emotions. In fact, she outlines the uncomfortable daily situations that make her want to confront people with the more difficult subjects of life.
By building scenes herself, she can actually make her own reality in a world that keeps evolving and going on. By means of her photographs she wants to let the viewer stand still for a moment, clarify that negative or sad emotions aren’t something you should hide or ignore.
Her work is characterized by it’s theatrical scenes and characteristic portraits, with a balance between fiction and reality.
